Kevan started racing in 2001 and has had previous spells in the FunCup and the TVR Tasmin series. Rating his home circuit Snetterton alongside the Brands hatch Indy as his favourite racing venues.
Kevan is into all forms of motorsport and with working and preparing both his and son Alex’s cars he doesn’t have much time for anything else.
His racing is supported by Matt Smith and Chris Brown and like most drivers he is actively looking for sponsors.
The car is a one off bespoke build and hasn’t been changed since 2010 and he and Matt have spent a lot of time sorting the car through the last few seasons.
The car was built by Mat from cat D road Tuscan and converted to a racer over 2007/2008 to be ready for the 2009 season. It runs a fuel injected 4.5 litre AJP V8 mated to a Borg Warner T5 gearbox. It produces around 400 bhp and weighs around
1000 kg.
